Ecopathy is a three-part album cycle about ecological grief: mourning a natural world most of us have already half-forgotten. Part II, Finding, arrives in 2027.
The work began with Marc Argeloo's Natuuramnesie, read from the tiny house where I live at the edge of the Wadden Sea. His images of that sea once full of calving whales, skies black with birds, aurochs roaming Dutch forests: they rearranged how I heard the silence of the countryside around me. Ecopathy is the attempt to make that silence audible.
It's about the emotional weight of living inside a landscape that keeps slipping out from under us. And the small, stubborn act of finding what remains.
